About Norma
From her early 20’s nursing days at Sydney Children’s Hospital to today, Norma (Normie) is cherished as a caring and loving human and generous host. She creates magic gardens with pockets of wonder that attract all matter of creatures from birds, ducks, frogs & a cat that turned up one day & never left!
Stepping into her home, there are posies of flowers from the garden in teapots and antique vases scattered amongst photographs on coffee tables and beside the bed. The Kitchen Aid whirs and a pot of tea in Botanic Garden Portmeirion awaits on the verandah with freshly baked scones and homemade jam. She's sitting patiently for you, wearing Miss Dior as she has every day since turning 21, clip on earrings and bright pink lipstick. As you chat and Nina Simone plays gently in the background, she reminds you 'to stop and smell the roses’. Wise words from a wise woman.
